Including a weekly face mask to your skin care routine can help all types of skin conditions from dry, oily, acne-prone, and aging skin. Here is a list of three different facial masks that can help with different skin conditions.

Clay and charcoal masks – For those who have oily or acne prone skin a clay mask is a good choice. Clay masks are good for drawing out impurities, detoxifying, and deep cleaning your pores. However, for those who have dry or combination skin, a clay mask will tend to dry out areas cause peeling. For those with acne-prone skin look at clay masks with natural tea tree oil to kill bacteria and soothe acne.

Exfoliating masks – To remove dead skin cells, look at exfoliation masks that require physical rubbing. Some masks may contain chemical exfoliants like lactic, glycolic, and salicylic acid, which are good at removing dead skin cells. If you are looking at a product that is more natural, look at an enzyme masks, as they eat away dead skin cells from your skin. Exfoliating masks are great to tighten, brighten and slow aging while removing excess oil which reduces acne.

Sheet masks – Sheet masks are disposable masks that are pre-cut and are made with fibers or gels and include ingredients packed with collagen, retinol, and peptides. Such masks are great for aging skin and to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Sheet masks will also brighten, tighten skin, hydrate and clean out pores.
